Attorney Bio

Paul A. Liles: Mr. Liles practices in the areas of construction law and commercial litigation.  He has more than 30 years experience in these areas having practiced initially with the firm of Bradley , Arant, Rose and White, served as General Counsel of BE&K, Inc., and was a partner in the firm of Ogle, Liles and Upshaw.

Mr. Liles is a longtime member of the Alabama and Birmingham Bar Associations and the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama.  He has lectured on various construction topics for business groups and attorneys.  He is admitted to practice in all Alabama courts, the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Liles graduated from the University of Virginia in 1971.  He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1974, where he served  on the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif academic honorary.  He is a member of the Downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club.
